Adjust a Work Order

caution

Users can only edit work orders with a draft or submitted status.

  • The first step to adjusting a work order is to select the desired work order.
  • You will be taken to the work order detail screen.

Revert Status Back to Draft

If you have submitted a work order too soon you can change it back to draft.

  • Select the desired work order.
  • This will bring you to the work order details.
  • Select the More Icon icon in the right-hand corner of the screen.
  • A list will appear, select the "Mark as Draft" option.

Edit Work Order Details

  • You will find the work order details on the left side of the screen.
  • You cannot edit the shop section. If you added the wrong shop to the work order, you would need to delete the work order and restart.

Edit a Repair Item

  • To edit a repair item, select the item that needs adjustment.
  • A window will appear from the right of the screen with the repair item's details.
  • Adjust the incorrect item by clicking the box and selecting from the dropdown.
  • After selecting the correct item, the system will automatically open the following box and continue until all boxes are filled again.
  • Once complete, select the Update button at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.

  • To add an item, select the Add Item button at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  • A window will appear where you will be asked to input the repair details.

  • To input repair details, select the aspect box and then choose from the list or begin typing in the search section to reduce the items in the list.

  • After selecting the aspect, the system will automatically open the following box and continue until all boxes are filled.

Add Cost Details

Below the repair information is the repair cost section.

Depending on the shop’s configurations, you may see a few different varieties, or there may not be a cost section at all.

Cost Section

  • Once complete, select the Add button or the Add and New button if there's another repair you want to add to this work order.

Delete a Work Order

  • Select the desired work order.
  • This will bring you to the work order details.
  • Select the More Icon icon on the right-hand corner of the screen.
  • A list will appear, select the "Delete" option.
  • A confirmation screen will appear, explaining that this action is permanent.
  • To finish deleting the work order, select the Delete button on the confirmation screen.

  • Select the desired repair item.
  • A window will appear to the right of the screen showing the item details.
  • Select the More Icon icon on the right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Select "Delete".
  • A confirmation screen will appear, explaining that this action is permanent.
  • To finish deleting the repair item, select the Delete button on the confirmation screen.
