Trips

The trips tab will show the chassis trip and activity under your company profile for all chassis ever used.

A trip begins when a chassis out gates from a start/stop location and ends when it in gates at another start/stop location. This section of the system will show all activity which is both in progress (incomplete) as well as finished (complete). The trip information is viewed in real-time in order to track activity and should be used to identify any errors in order to dispute activity before invoices are created.

The data is constantly updating, make sure to refresh the page to get the most up-to-date information.

Usage Table Sections

ColumnDescription
ChassisChassis number corresponding to each trip.
ContainerContainer number corresponding to each trip.
  • If there is no container associated with this trip, the section will be left blank.
CarrierSCAC code of the motor carrier who checked out the chassis.
LineSCAC code of the shipping line associated with the container.
  • If there is no container associated with this trip, the section will be left blank.
Booking/BOLNA booking number (export) or bill of lading number (import) associated with the container.
  • If there is no container associated with this trip, the section will be left blank.
FromThe start/stop location the chassis outgated from.
ToThe start/stop location the chassis ingated to.
Start TimeThe date and time which the chassis outgated from location.
End TimeThe date and time which the chassis ingated to location.
TypeOn terminal- the chassis stayed on the port.
Off terminal- the chassis left the port.
StatusComplete- The trip has ended (will have a "To" location and an "End Time").
Incomplete- The trip has not ended (will not have a "To" location and an "End Time").
CostA dollar amount associated with the total trip.
  • If trip is incomplete the amount will change daily.
Bill ToDesignates what type of company is responsible for cost.
Bill To CompanyThe finacially responsible party.

Filtering the Usage Table

Users can reduce the content to show only what is wanted at the time by using filter options. There are seven different ways to filter the table.

From location filterFilters based on locations chassis have outgated from.
  • Users can select more than one option.

From date filterShows any trip that has taken place before or on selected date.
There are two ways to enter a date:
  • Select the "From" text and type a date.
  • Select the To location filter icon and select a date from calendar

To date filterShows any trip that has taken place on selected date or after.

To remove all options inside one multi-select filter, select the select-all checkbox button at the top left corner of each filter.

Clear single filter

To remove all filters at one time select Clear located on the right side of the filters section.
