Understanding the Insurance Page

The PTS Chassis Management System manages the approval and needed validity of insurance policies that motor carriers must have on file to access the port terminals and depots.

The insurance section holds all upcoming, current, and expired insurance policies along with their certificate of proof.

Insurance Page

Policy Overview​

The overview section shows each insurance type needed and its status using a color coded system:

Approved Insurance is approved and active.

Expiring At least one insurance is going to expire in 30 days or less.

Expired At least one insurance has expired.

Missing At least one insurance is missing.

Policy Status

If insurance is missing or expired, trucks cannot enter the port.

Policies​

The policy section holds all the policies the company has uploaded along with the effective and expiration date.

Check Policy is approved and active.

Pending Policy is pending approval.

Rejected Policy is rejected, double check information.

Inactive Policy is inactive.

Certificates​

The certificate section holds all the uploaded certifications.

Check A green check will be located on the top right-hand corner of any active certificates.
