Understanding the Service Contract Page
The service contract section allows shipping lines to enter service contract numbers and details. Enabling motor carriers to pull chassis equipment against a booking number or bill of lading and ensuring the charges will be sent to the correct party.
Service Contract Table
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Number | The number identifying the service contract. |
| Effective Date | The date the service contract begins. |
| Expiration Date | The date the service contract ends. |
| Description | Helps to identify what the contract is for or who it's with. |
| Exemption Status | Will show EXEMPT if it's a merchant haulage but shipline is accepting the bill. |
| Days to Shipline | Shows the number of days the shipline will accept chassis charges for the contract. |
Filtering the Contract Table
Users can reduce the content to show only what is wanted at the time by using filter options.
